Counted Results · the second ledger of the economy

Every result,
with every try that produced it.

Payment rails record what was paid. MIZAN records whether it was earned, with one signed answer before money moves.

The missing number: anyone can show their best result, and when tries are nearly free, the best of thousands looks like skill. MIZAN counts every try and binds the count into the proof, so any result a strategy, model or agent shows comes with how many attempts produced it.

Before an AI agent pays, it asks MIZAN and gets one signed yes or no. Native to no one, built for everyone who invests, moves money or builds.

Anyone can set the rule an agent must pass, in plain words, free.

Signed yes or no in 151 ms median. Verifies offline.

MIZAN puts the missing number into every result. Trust becomes independently verifiable.

People, companies and autonomous systems can prove what they earned, authorize what may happen, and let anyone rely on the evidence, without exposing anything private.

Others verify who an agent is or what it may do. MIZAN also proves what it earned.

The first market, nowAI agents paying agents. Plus trading track records and AI evaluations, the first live applications.
The infrastructure, nextEvery result someone is asked to pay for: funds, models, vendors, services, research.

Impossible infrastructure. One line of code.

What we built underneath
  • Zero-knowledge proofs: 392,877 steps of real data proven
  • A signed public ledger, stamped every hour by two outside authorities
  • Every try counted and bound into the proof, luck corrected by the real count
  • Identity, limits, settlement, disputes, search: 43 layers, all live
What you write
// before your agent pays
const v = await fetch("https://studio.mizan.market/api/check/" + agent).then(r => r.json())

01 The problem

Every result is someone’s best try. Only the seller knows how many tries it took.

  • An AI agentsays it completes 90% of its tasks.tries behind it: unpublished
  • A fundshows its best strategy.tries behind it: unpublished
  • A model labpublishes its best benchmark run.tries behind it: unpublished
  • A vendorshows its best quarter.tries behind it: unpublished

Science calls it p‑hacking. AI calls it benchmark gaming. Finance calls it overfitting. Every field knows it. None could fix it.

The corrections have existed for decades, and every one of them trusts the seller to say how many tries there were. With a person in the loop, someone might ask. When agents pay agents in milliseconds, no one does. Money flows to the luckiest try, at machine speed.

Economists call this a market for lemons: when buyers can’t tell good from bad, bad drives out good (Akerlof, Nobel 2001). The fix is a signal that can’t be faked (Spence, Nobel 2001). A counted claim is that signal.

And now agents pay agents. Every payment leaves six questions open.

Payment, identity and tool protocols for agents shipped in the last two years. None of them says whether a record was earned.

Today each one is answered by the seller’s word.

03 The stack

One protocol. One call in, one signed answer out.

Every answer MIZAN signs stands on all seven layers at once: the ledger records it, the record proves it, authorization decides it, settlement enforces it, the economy prices it, the network carries it everywhere, and agents use it on their own. 43 layers, one answer.

05 Why it can’t be faked

Don’t trust it. Watch your browser verify it.

  1. The count is part of the proof.Every try is counted and bound into the proof, so the tries that lost can’t be dropped.
  2. Anyone can re-run the proof. It verifies on your machine, without MIZAN.
  3. Refusals are published.Every refusal sits under the same name as the passes, ours included.
  4. A count cannot be backdated.Every day on the public record is a day no one can add later. It is stamped every hour.
  5. We retracted our own results. We retracted our own results when our counter refused them →
